John F. Todaro, Ph.D
Dr. John Todaro is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Director of PBHA. Dr. Todaro received his doctoral degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Florida and completed specialty training at the Brown University Clinical Psychology Training Program. His specialties include adult and geriatric behavioral and provides clinical services at both PBHA and as an integrated psychologist in primary care. In addition to private practice, Dr. Todaro is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Brown Medical School, providing training and supervision to psychology residents and fellows. He is the President of the Rhode Island Psychological Association and a Board Member of the Rhode Island Board of Psychology.

Jannette Rey, Ph.D
Dr. Jannette Rey, resident of RI since 2000 and Co-Founder of PBHA (2006) and the PBH Yoga & Wellness program (2019), is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University, with specialty training in Child Clinical Psychology and serving as mentor in the region’s diversity and inclusion program. She completed her internship at the University of Florida’s Clinical and Health Psychology, with postdoctoral training leading to faculty position in the Department of Family, Youth, and Community Services. Dr. Rey’s areas of expertise include psychotherapy (both In-Person and via telehealth) for mood & behavior/conduct disorders, integrated behavioral health, functional behavioral assessments and behavior support planning, neurobehavioral health and mindfulness, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and family system therapy.

John Charette is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of clinical experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, families and groups. Randi Braunstein, LICSW
Randi Braunstein is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been working with children, adolescents, adults and families for over 25 years. She has held leadership positions in children’s behavioral health as well as geriatrics, and has been the founder and executive director of two statewide organizations in Rhode Island. Ms. Braunstein has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, an acute residential treatment program for adolescents, an intensive outpatient program for adolescents, a child/adolescent psychiatric hospital and private practice. Michael D. Brodeur, PsyD
Dr. Mike Brodeur, Psy.D. (He/Him) is a clinical psychologist with a variety of clinical skills from working in university college counseling centers, outpatient group practice, and integrated healthcare. Dr. Brodeur strives to create an inclusive and affirming space for BIPOC folx, LGBTQIA+ folx, and other historically underrepresented and marginalized communities to feel seen, heard, and respected. Dr. Brodeur is serving his second-term as a Board Director for the Rhode Island Psychological Association (RIPA). In this role, Dr. Brodeur advocates to remove barriers to accessing behavioral health services and greater representation of BIPOC folx in the field of psychology. You may have seen Dr. Brodeur during his interview on WPRI Channel 12 News for a “Community Focus” segment to talk about equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field of psychology in RI. Dr. Brodeur is also a member of the Social Justice & Public Policy Committee at RIPA, and he founded the Social Justice Committee at Providence Behavioral Health to help build antiracist and affirming care practices at PBHA. Dr. Brodeur’s clinical specialties include working with clients with ADHD, anxiety disorders (OCD, Panic disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder), depression disorders, pre-surgical evaluations for bariatric surgery, and body and food-related issues with emotional overeating and binge eating disorders. Dr. Brodeur tries to steer clients away from a focus on weight, and instead to a focus on creating satisfying food experiences and body valuing practices. Clients that match well with Dr. Brodeur tend to value an action-oriented back-and-forth process fused with collaboration, goal-setting, problem-solving, laughter, and an appreciation for structured approaches to treatment (CBT, CPT). Julie Grand-Landau, LICSW
Julie Grand-Landau is a clinical social worker with over 20 years of counseling experience and is licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She is originally from Montreal, Canada where she obtained her Master of Social Work at McGill University as well as a Post Masters Certificate in Marital and Family Therapy at the Argyle Institute. She has worked in a wide variety of settings which include private practice, mental health with veterans, industrial rehabilitation, substance use treatment, outpatient psychiatry and community mental health. Diane L. Marolla, LICSW
Diane L. Marolla has worked in healthcare in both administrative and clinical roles for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Bryant University, and a Masters of Social Work degree from Rhode Island College. Her employment record includes working for Brown University, Women & Infants Hospital, Butler Hospital, United Healthcare, Neighborhood Health of Rhode Island, and East Bay Community Action Program, Gershon Psychological Associates and Social Sparks. Joanna Winterbottom, LICSW
Joanna is a licensed independent clinical social worker and certified yoga instructor. Her experience comes from working in community mental health, integrated behavioral health, hospital ICUs, a local cancer center and the VA. Her areas of clinical interest are working with individuals dealing with trauma, medical conditions, grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression and substance use. Julian M. Saad, PhD
Dr. Julian M. Saad is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Integrated Behavioral Health at PBHA. He completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and a Residency in Medical Psychology at the University of Vermont Medical Center. During his training he provided psychological services in oncology centers including at Dana Farber Cancer Institute; and for collegiate athletic teams at the University of Rhode Island and Providence College. He has experience working with adults of all ages and has helped clients to navigate: cancer and chronic disease, health behavior change, athlete mental health, performance concerns, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and relational issues. In addition to his work in clinical psychology and behavioral medicine, he holds a Level 1 meditation teacher’s certificate in Sheng Zhen Meditation, and he continues to provide weekly access to moving- and seated-meditation programs in both clinical and community settings. Dr. Saad has a passion for an integrative and holistic approach to mental and behavioral health and he is committed to helping clients develop a lifestyle that supports health, wellbeing and a strong sense of self. In his practice he utilizes a science of “Staging” to help his clients achieve progress whether they are “ready” or “not yet ready” to make the next important life-change. Rebecca Fredericks, LICSW
Rebecca is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the mental health field for 10 years. In this time she has worked closely with toddlers, children, adolescents, adults, and families. Rebecca has a Bachelor’s of Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Masters of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She has worked in various settings including case work, juvenile detention, school-based services, and early childhood mental health consultation. In these settings, she has run small groups, and provided parent trainings that offered psycho-education on challenging behaviors paired with strategies to use at home. Rebecca has experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, and specializes in early childhood and perinatal mental health. She informs her work through an attachment-based lens and by utilizing therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and interpersonal therapy (IPT). When working with young children, Rebecca will often include theraplay and/or play therapy techniques meant to strengthen trust and skill building. Tania Gonzalez, PhD
Dr. Tania Gonzalez is a multilingual clinical psychologist in the state of Rhode Island and in the US territory of Puerto Rico. She completed her Masters and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Universidad Carlos Albizu in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Gonzalez completed her San Juan Consortium Internship Program in Clinical Psychology at the Counseling and Psychological Services Department in the University of Puerto Rico, Carolina Campus and has worked in settings that include schools, college and private practice. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults of all ages treating diverse behavior concerns like depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD, parenting skills, oppositional defiance and issues concerning gender and LGBTQ+ communities. Dr. Gonzalez also has expertise in working with communication skills development for parents who are in family court. Kayla Sall, PhD
Dr. Kayla E. Sall (she/her) is a licensed Clinical Health Psychologist at PBHA. A Michigander from the Motor City, Dr. Sall earned a dual degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn (Go Blue!) before pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Health Psychology from East Carolina University with a specialty in trauma and sexual health. She completed her residency and fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University’s Clinical Psychology Training Consortium, where she primarily trained in the Providence VA Medical Center’s Primary Care Behavioral Health and Sexual Health Clinics. As a clinical health psychologist, Dr. Sall is trained in treating emotional and behavioral disorders within the context of medical and physical health issues (e.g., depression after experiencing a heart attack; PTSD after multiple miscarriages; sexual dysfunctions). Her treatment areas include but are not limited to sexual and reproductive health, LGBTQ+ health, cardiovascular and pulmonary disease, weight and metabolic disorders, tobacco cessation, and adjustment to cancer. She uses an ecological systems framework to understand her patients’ needs from an individual to systemic level, with a focus on social determinants of health. She is passionate about bridging the gap in healthcare by providing an inclusive and affirming approach to providing behavioral healthcare among historically marginalized and underrepresented communities.

Jasmine Griffith, PhD, LMHC
Dr. Jasmine A. H. Griffith is an LMHC Trainee in the state of Rhode Island. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Griffith completed her Practicum/Internship and Licensed Residency hours at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and has worked in settings that include universities, private practice, and community behavioral health clinics. Michael Geoghegan, PMHNP-BC is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Masters in Nursing Practice and licensed to practice in the state of Rhode Island. Michael has expertise in the management of psychiatric medications in both adolescents and adults. Christopher Anderson, PMHNP
Chris Anderson is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He holds a Master of Science of Nursing from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of South Alabama where he is also pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Chris completed his psychiatric clinical training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Sheppard Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He has over eight years of combined inpatient and outpatient psychiatric experience with patients across the lifespan. He believes in providing holistic, patient-centered, and evidence-based care to all individuals with transparent, joint decision-making between the provider and client serving as the key to treatment success. He enjoys working collaboratively and encourages the combination of medication management and psychotherapy to help each individual achieve their goals and improve their overall mental-health and well-being.
A Connecticut native, Chris looks forward to living in Rhode Island and being closer to family. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their three children, who are all currently in college, and two Berne doodles.

Olivia Footer, PMHNP
Olivia Footer is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Olivia received her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University and her Master of Arts in Psychology from Boston University. She has training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. Olivia also has advanced practice nursing experience in oncology and palliative medicine and is passionate about helping individuals living with chronic illness and those struggling with grief and loss. Karen is a lifelong Rhode Island resident. She has been working in the medical field for 30+ years. She started her career as a Registration/Billing Clerk at a Behavioral Health Center and changed careers to work as a Medical Assistant and then advanced to Office Manager/Supervisor working for multiple specialties which included Family Medicine, Rheumatology, Geriatrics, Vascular Surgery, and Internal Medicine. She worked in the same practice for 27 years. While not working, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and has a passion for hunting for great antiques.

Kelly was born and raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Pilgrim High School. She has 20 plus years as a customer service representative in the jewelry industry. She then moved on to the medical field as administrative medical receptionist. She is married and has 2 children with whom she loves to spend all of her free time with. Kim Comire
Kim was born and raised in Rhode Island. She has over 40 years of customer service in the hospitality industry. In 1996 she attended the Sawyer School in the medical assistant / reception program and now has been in the medical field for almost 30 years. She was an executive assistant at a medical billing facility for almost 20 yrs where she was known as the Mom of the office because she helped everyone in any way she could. She has previous experience as the Community Information Specialist for the towns of Lincoln and Cumberland assisting the elderly and disabled with any benefits or programs they were eligible for. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids and most of all her several grandchildren.
